These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the QR code attendance management service "ScanQR" ("the Service") provided by ScanQR ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms apply to all relationships between you and us regarding the use of the Service. By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (Registration)

1. To use the Service, you must apply for registration in the manner specified by us. Registration is completed upon our approval of the application.
2. We may not approve a registration application in the following cases:
   • If false information is provided
   • If the application is from someone who has previously violated these Terms
   • If we determine that registration is otherwise inappropriate

Article 3 (Account Management)

1. You are responsible for managing your account information (email address, password, etc.) for the Service.
2. You may not transfer or lend your account information to any third party under any circumstances.
3. You are responsible for any damages resulting from inadequate management of account information, errors in use, or use by third parties.

Article 4 (Fees and Payment)

1. You agree to pay the fees for paid portions of the Service as separately determined by us and displayed on our website.
2. After the free trial period ends, access to the Service may be restricted if you do not subscribe to a paid plan.

Article 5 (Prohibited Actions)

When using the Service, you must not:

• Violate laws or public order and morals
• Engage in activities related to criminal acts
• Destroy or interfere with the functions of our servers or network
• Interfere with the operation of the Service
• Collect or accumulate personal information about other users
• Impersonate other users
• Directly or indirectly provide benefits to antisocial forces in connection with our Service
• Resell the Service for commercial purposes
• Engage in any other conduct that we determine to be inappropriate

Article 6 (Suspension of Service)

We may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice in the following cases:

• When performing maintenance or updates to the computer system for the Service
• When it becomes difficult to provide the Service due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters
• When computers or communication lines are stopped due to an accident
• When we determine that it is difficult to provide the Service for other reasons

Article 7 (Intellectual Property Rights)

Copyright and other intellectual property rights related to the Service and all information related to the Service belong to us or to rights holders who have licensed their use to us.

Article 8 (Usage Restrictions and Account Termination)

We may restrict all or part of your use of the Service or terminate your registration without prior notice in the following cases:

• If it is discovered that there are false facts in the registered information
• If there is a failure to pay fees or other debts
• If there is no response to our communications for a certain period
• If we determine that use of the Service is otherwise inappropriate

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

We may change the content of the Service or discontinue providing the Service without notifying you, and we shall not be liable for any damages incurred by you as a result.

Article 11 (Changes to Terms)

We may change these Terms without notifying you when we deem it necessary. The revised Terms shall take effect from the time they are posted on this website.

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by Japanese law. Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over our head office location.
